About Us
Ashfield Park is situated on the Burringham Road on the west side of
Scunthorpe town. At the entrance to Ashfield Park there is a small bus terminal with covered waiting area. Buses leave every half hour for the 15 minute journey to
Scunthorpe town centre with its shops and facilities. Trains from Scunthorpe station connect with the East Coast Mainline services at Doncaster.
A local ASDA supermarket is a short walk from Ashfield and includes a hairdressers, a chemist and a travel agents.
A doctor's surgery, health clinic, post office and a butchers shop are all within a 15 minute walk. The recently expanded local hospital is also easily
reached from Ashfield Park.
The local golf course is within a 5-minute walk, and horse riding, fishing and leisure facilities can be found within a five mile radius.
Our village pub with its own restaurant is also just a 5-minute walk away.

Useful Information when buying a Park Home at Ashfield Park
Most Park homes are in band A council tax.
The gas board charge out to you as they would if you living in a house.
Electricity is metered and charged out calendar monthly.
The ground rent includes environmental charges.
Water and sewerage is charged out calendar monthly.
At the end of each month you will receive a statement of your account.
All Park Homes must be insured. We can advise you on park home insurance companies.
Refuse bins are emptied every Tuesday by the local council.
Tradesman call every week with milk, fish etc.
Children are welcome to visit, but are not allowed to live on the park.
Pets are allowed by agreement with the Director prior to purchase.

Ashfield Park Homes Location
The motorway netwok (A180) is conveniently close, being only 8 minutes drive away. Humberside airport is only 20 minutes away, and Robin Hood airport is also
nearby.The motorway routes mean that Doncaster (20 minutes), Grimsby (30 minutes), and Hull (30 minutes) are all within easy reach. Lincoln and York can also be reached within an hour, with york being the gateway to the Yorkshire Dales.
